I always start my day with a little drawing.
Sometimes I need just a minute to scribble a quick doodle and I feel charged, at other times, I need to linger and take longer.  This is my piece of art from my most spiritual and mindful sessions this helps me enormously.

As this is the year of the Rooster,

I have drawn inspiration to create an old style country kitchen pattern.

This design, to me reminisces of Nana by the Aga, apple pie and a casserole in, the smell of apple wood and a quintessential old world English charm about it.

How to renovate old furniture

I have given this old cupboard a new lease of life.

sandpaper thoroughly to provide a key.

I then primed the cupboard with white primer, it really was in a shabby state and then applied a coat of white emulsion.

I used my design printed on a 2ft square swatch of peel and stick wallpaper in the center panel
